Established in 1954, Victoria Carpets Pty. Ltd. has grown to become a leading Australian carpet manufacturer. The company's manufacturing base is located in Dandenong and has spinning mills in both Castlemaine and Bendigo. Victoria Carpets employ over 300 people across the three facilities, with a sales force throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Victoria Carpets produce a range of tufted carpets for the residential and commercial markets worldwide. The incorporation of the two spinning mills in 1992 and 2003 transformed the company into a vertically integrated manufacturer with the flexibility to produce pure wool, wool blends and synthetic carpets.
A focus on product development ensures innovative carpet styling and colouring that meets current trends in the marketplace.

Phil Smith
Managing Director — Victoria Carpets, Australia
Phil Smith joined The Board of The Victoria Carpet Company as Managing Director in May 2013. He has over 25 years senior leadership experience across a variety of organisations and industries; including building materials, consumer goods, advertising media, manufacturing, wholesale and retail. The common thread has been his ability to build a customer focused culture and to channel energies into strategies designed to improve outcomes for all business stakeholders, within organisations with turnover and employee numbers ranging up to $170m & 400 staff. Phil also holds Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) and a Master of Business Administration qualifications.

Anne Seymour
Sales & Marketing Director — Victoria Carpets, Australia
Anne has been in charge of sales and marketing for Victoria Carpets Pty, our Australian operation, since she joined us in 1999. Anne has over twenty years of sales and marketing experience in total in Australasia. She has played a major role in formulating the Company's sales and marketing strategy that has propelled Victoria Carpets to the number two player in the Australian market over the past few years and is actively involved in the small but highly effective management team running our Australian business.

Michael Oakley
Non-Executive Chairman — Victoria Carpets, Australia
Michael Oakley has been non-executive Chairman since he retired from the Board in an executive capacity in August 2006. Michael served for 12 years on the Group PLC Board and 27 years in total with our Australian business as both Managing Director and then Executive Chairman. He is still involved with the Carpet Institute of Australia as its President and brings a wide breadth of experience to our Australian Board. His continued stewardship is of great value to the business.

Michael Davies
Non-Executive Director — Victoria Carpets, Australia
Joined the Board in February 2005. Michael was Group President of ITW with responsibility for the Construction Group operations in Australia, New Zealand and Asia for 13 years until his retirement in December 2012. Prior to joining ITW, he was Managing Director of Selleys Chemical Company, having previously held general management and senior marketing positions with Dulux and James Hardie Industries.

Warwick Whyte
Non-Executive Director — Victoria Carpets, Australia
Joined the Board in November 2012. Warwick is a Senior Mentor with NZ Business Mentors and the Pacific Business Mentoring Programme working with clients in New Zealand, The Kingdom of Tonga and Niue. He was previously CEO of Pacific Print Group Limited a major Australasian printing organisation, having previously been the owner of Business Printing Group in Auckland which he acquired in a management buyout. His earlier experience was as the Hotels Division Manager at LD Nathans Ltd, and before that Warwick was a founding member of the NZ Police Corporate Fraud Squad. He brings to the Board a wide range of general management and personal experience and expertise.
