2010

Three year agreement signed with Independent Inspections Ltd to supply carpet to the insurance replacement market.

Our Dandenong site in Australia was awarded the ISO 14001 Environmental Certificate at the end of March 2010.  This Environmental Certification Scheme is the first scheme to be recognised by Australia's Green Building Council's assessment framework for third party environmental schemes.

2009

Victoria Carpets UK awarded Interiors Monthly Best UK Fooring Supplier Award 2009.

Victoria Plc certified to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 by British Safety Council.

Victoria Carpets UK secured new six-year distribution agreement with Greendale Buying Group.

Victoria Carpets UK extended their service contract to warehouse, cut and distribute carpets on behalf of the John Lewis Partnership.

2008

Victoria expands sales into the contract carpet market in the UK.

Three year exclusive distribution agreement signed with Mannington Mills Inc., to market tiles in the UK, Republic of Ireland and France.

Major investment of A$8m on state of the art Tufting manufacturing equipment installed at Dandenong site in Australia.

2006
Victoria renews its contract with John Lewis to provide a distribution centre for the delivery of carpets to its stores nationwide.
2003
Victoria acquires Navan Carpets, the leading brand of residential and contract carpeting in Ireland.

Colin Campbell, our Canadian distribution business is reinforced by a new partnership with Elte Carpets of Toronto.

In the UK, a major investment is completed in tufted carpet manufacturing with the commissioning of a £2million state-of-the-art backing line providing lighter-weight, more environmentally-friendly carpet in widths up to 5 metres.
2002
Victoria buys the Irish contract Wilton specialist Munster Carpets.

Australian operations are strengthened with the acquisition of Pacific Textiles, one of the last remaining independent carpet yarn spinners in Australia.

Victoria secures the contract to service all of the own-brand carpet warehousing, cutting and transport requirements for John Lewis

Two surplus properties sold and special dividend of 15p per share paid to shareholders.
1995
Victoria acquires Castlemaine Spinning, a dry woollen mill in Australia, as part of its plan to own its own supply chain.

Victoria acquires Westwood Yarns in Yorkshire.

Victoria establishes its first overseas manufacturing plant in Dandenong, a suburb of Melbourne Australia.

Victoria shares are first quoted on the London Stock Exchange.

Victoria Carpets moves South to Kidderminster in Worcestershire.

Victoria Carpets is founded in Victoria Street, Kirkcaldy, Scotland, beginning over a century of achievement in quality floor coverings.
